INTER AND NIKE, NEW SHIRTS FOR 2013/14

A more intense blue for the home jersey, all white for the away kit. Performance-enhancing technological innovations, commitment to the environment

MILAN - FC Internazionale's 2013/14 Home and Away shirts by Nike are inspired by the city of Milan, Inter’s home and world fashion capital.

HOME KIT

The Home shirt has a crisp, sleek design with blue vertical stripes that are notably darker than before.

The sartorial attention to detail is evident throughout the entire kit. The new shirt features a mandarin collar with a refined insert at the back, and two slits with black inserts down the sides.

The shorts are black with a blue line on either side while the socks, also black, have two horizontal blue lines.

AWAY KIT

The new Away shirt is inspired by a classic male clothing look: the aim is to provide the club with an even more elegant and refined kit.

The Away jersey is totally white except for the blue of the collar and two horizontal black and blue stripes at the end of the sleeves.

Inter’s second shirt also features a mandarin collar with a white insert at the back.

The shorts are white with a blue stripe down the side. The socks are white with a black and blue strip running down the back.

Both Home and Away shirts feature a red and white cross inside the neck representing the coat of arms of the city of Milan, capital of style and fashion.

The Nike kits produced for FC Internazionale for the coming season also feature technological innovations aimed at improving the athletes' performance on the field. 

Fabric and Nike Dri-FIT

The kit weights 150 grammes and is 23% lighter than last season's. The fabric is 20% more resistant with increased elasticity.

The fabric incorporates Nike's Dri-FIT technology that offers greater breathability by wicking sweat away from the skin.

Superior ventilation is a feature of the new kit thanks to tiny laser-cut holes on the sides of the shirt and around the waist of the shorts. The back of the shirt contains layered mesh fabric for optimal ventilation and comfort.

Fit

The new kit offers a more athletic and dynamic fit. Nike carried out a series of 3D scans on the bodies of some of the world's top footballers to produce more ergonomic shirts and shorts. A T-support strengthens the stitching between the shirt and the sleeves. 

Inter's new Home and Away shirts will be available from Wednesday 10 July in all Nike Stores, Inter Stores and selected retail outlets. You can also purchase them online at store.inter.it and nikestore.com.
